Samantha Eddy offers a variety of somatic experiences for individuals to bring students and clients into a more compassionate understanding of the wisdom their bodies hold. She guides students and clients in translating that wisdom into healing and growth.
Samantha has had her own journey of healing, after enduring over a decade of debilitating panic attacks, high anxiety, and vicarious traumatization. Everything she teaches stems from using it in her own healing journey. She believes in strength being paired with vulnerability.
Serving Those who have Served
Samantha has been a part of the military community for over a decade. Her brother, cousin and uncle have served/currently serve honorably in the Army and Air Force. Her work in bringing yoga to the military community started when she saw a family member struggling and watched the military community fail them over and over again with non-existent therapies for traumatic stress derived from deployment. Yoga and Yoga Therapy offers an avenue accessible for active-duty service members because it is not bound to military protocol regarding mental health treatment.
Samantha has taught Yoga & led Yoga Therapy sessions at Vandenberg Air Force Base, with the UCSB Student Veterans Association, and through the Santa Barbara County Veterans Treatment Court.
