Sam's Bio

Sam is a current PhD. student integrating somatics and yoga as a powerful healing tool from trauma. Her academic interests include using yoga therapy as a regulatory tool for the nervous system, for optimal healing from traumatic stress. Sam primarily specializes in sharing yoga with the military community because she has seen firsthand the lack of support and effective resources military members with post-traumatic stress have. She finds that yoga is an accessible, economical, and long-lasting healing tool because it teaches veterans tools to focus better, breathe easier, and connect into their own selves.

Sam is passionate about all kinds of movement for all kinds of healing, and works as Kineci Health & Movement's Center Director. Kineci is redefining how we move our bodies, and helps individuals live pain-free.
